Gramps, I appreciated your references to quotes from the brethren on the
subject of birth control/contraceptives, but rather than these scattered
quotes from a period of many years, could you give us the words of the
current prophets on this subject from the general handbook of instructions?

don’t have a General Handbook at my disposal. But let me assure you that the
Brethren today will be in perfect accord with what the former presidents of the
Church have had to say on the subject. If you would like any more specific
information I would suggest that you consult with your own bishop who can give
you particular information, guidance and direction in such matters.
