You might tell him that people who use ouija boards are trying to make contact with the spirit world, and that the only spirits who would consider responding to such a thing are the bad spirits.

God has already given us a way to contact the spirit world. He tells us that we should talk only with Him, and we don’t need any kind of a mechanism to do so, because He hears every word that we say. If we talk to our Heavenly Father, really believing that He is there, He will answer our prayers according to his perfect love and kindness toward his children.
